It Was Painful! And Still It Is!

Every time I look at the mirror, the scars in my face remind me of my most painful experience in life. One year ago, my bestfriend and I were riding a motorcycle on our way to the town when we got into an accident. Everything was so fast. I was texting while riding behind my bestfriend when we hit a tricycle. The impact was so forceful that it made us scattered away. The moment after that, I saw my bestfriend filled with blood because of the impact. Yeah, he broke his skull. I was lying in the middle of the street filled with bruises in the face as well and in some other parts of my body.

We were rushed in the hospital after that. I survived but my bestfriend did not. He died because of head injury five minutes after we reached the hospital. That was very traumatic and I am hoping that that incident will never happen again. I lost my bestfriend. Yet, I know that he is really happy wherever he is right now. Even though he is gone physically, I cannot forget those happy times when we were still young playing basketball together and singing in the band with him on the base guitar.

I Am a Dreamer!

I am a 21 year old dreamer. When I was still young, I dream to becoming rich someday. Yeah, and I think everyone desires to become rich in one way or the other. This is the reason why we acquire education, we look for jobs and explore new things. However, I realized that that was a stupid dream of mine. Why? Because I thought being rich is the only way I can have to be happy. Well, I though it wrong.

Money is not the answer for everything. I'm not saying that being rich is bad. I don't condemn rich people. I'm not a bitter person. What I am trying to say is that, you don't have to be rich to experience happiness. You can find happiness through simple things. With people around you. People who care for you and love you.

Your wealth will pass away, but the friendship you have with your neighbors, friends and families will stay for a lifetime. I am still dreaming to become rich someday, it's not yet too late I know, but I won't forget special people around me because though them I can find the real happiness of life. Money is nothing without them.
