My Grandpa's Advice

It's been 2 years now when my grandfather passed away. I can still remember how painful those days are for me. It is really hard to feel when someone dearest to you is now gone. However, only the physical presence of my grandfather is gone, not his memories, at least for me. We shared a lot of good times together. Even though he was strict sometimes, I'm still thankful for him because of all the lessons he had taught me. It made me a greater person. He also taught me how to save, how to be a good neighbor, and most importantly, how to be a good child.

One of the most unforgettable advices my grandfather has shared me is the essence of being persistent and patient. Once he told me that these are the qualities that you need to possess in order to become successful in life. He was a businessman back then and most of his business was good because he was good at it. He was very patient when it comes to managing everything. Sad to say that he's gone now. I miss him a lot. Yet, forever, I will cherish all those times we had, and all those lessons he had taught me.
